The top scoring 50% will earn more weekly points.

Please note that these numbers adjust based off of league members.
Weekly Play/Recording Official
· The Season Schedule will determine which course should be played each week
· KFDG League starts on Mondays and ends on Sunday
· Each member must record their official round at the scheduled course between Monday and Sunday of that week WITH some exception
o Exception: Play in Advance
§ We love flexibility, this club allows official rounds to be played up to TWO weeks in advance. Members are expected to use this play-in-advance feature for best intended purposes (Travel, Vacations), and should NOT play the schedule consistently in advance.
§ You MUST still play the courses in the proper order. You can’t play course 4 before you play course 3.
· You ARE allowed to practice as much as you want before you declare your official round.
· You are NOT required to play every week, you will not receive any points and your handicap will receive a score equivalent to your current handicap for the week.
· We use UDISC scorecards and timestamps to confirm when you declared your official round.
· There will be rules and announcement forms imbedded inside of each UDISC event.
· IN ORDER FOR YOUR OFFICIAL ROUND TO COUNT…
o You must use the UDISC event to check in.
o You must use the UDISC event to review the rules and announce you’re beginning your round.
o You must either…
§ Have at least TWO eligible KFDG witnesses. They don’t have to be playing their official round, they don’t have to play at all… They just have to witness you playing your full round. If this is the playoffs, they must be ELIGIBLE in that round of the playoffs.
§ Be playing in a sanctioned league/tournament round.
League Nights
· We are looking into possibly sanctioning league nights (optional).
· As of now, Sunday will be considered League Night each week
· It is NOT required to play a sanctioned round, or to play on Sunday.
· Pop Up Shops may be available on league nights as well from our friends at Bangachain and Bomb Discs
· The idea is just to promote meeting and playing with more people in the league.
League Rules
· We adhere to all PDGA rules. It is important to know them. If you have any questions on mid-round rulings, you should reach out to an advisor by text or call. If unavailable, your card should discuss and decide the ruling.
· For all rule infractions, you must issue a courtesy warning. Once a courtesy warning has been given in a round, ANY additional rule infraction, whether it be the same or different rule, can be called.
· If a player commits the same rules infractions in multiple rounds, you should still give them their courtesy warning allowance, and report the repeat offense to the advisors so they can discuss with the member.
· For any rule infractions that result in DQ per the PDGA rules, you do not have to issue a warning. Please report all of these to the advisors. The offense must be backed by all league members on your card.
Handicap Calculation:
Regular Season Handicap
· We will be calculating your +/- each week compared to each course’s 950 rated stroke total. We are using this to provide more handicap consistency and to account for course difficulty. Here’s what this means:
o Previously, if you shot a 50 at Shillito Park (Par of 55), that -5 to par would be included in your rolling handicap.
o This year, the course par will be based on a 950 rated round. For Shillito, that is a 49.
o Now, if you shoot a 50 at Shillito Park, you would carry a +1 in your rolling handicap calculation.
· Your weekly handicap will be calculated using a rolling 5-week window, dropping the lowest score, and using a straight average for the remaining score. In other words, your week 6 handicap will include week 1-5’s +/- to SSA. We will drop your worst score (highest + to par) and average the remaining four.
o Every member will start week 1 with a handicap, and it will consist of 5 identical scores (5-week window)
§ New Members Identical Scores:
· New members will start with a zero handicap.
§ Existing Member Identical Scores:
· Equal to their playoff handicap from previous season
Playoff Handicap
· At the end of the 12-week regular season, each player will be assigned their playoff handicap, which will remain fixed throughout.
o The playoff handicap will be calculated as the straight average of your 9 best regular season +/- scores.
o If you did not play at least 9 rounds, we will use your best 75%.
